Al Nasikh Wal Mansookh Fil Quran Al Kareem-الناسخ والمنسوخ في القرآن الكريم

Among the sciences of the Quran is abrogation (naskh), an important field through which we identify the verses whose rulings we are still obligated to follow, and those whose rulings have been replaced by others for a reason we may or may not know, such as leniency and ease. Judge Ibn al-Arabi, in his book, lists the verses that have been said to have been abrogated, mentioning their abrogating verses according to the order of the surahs. He does so whether he agrees with the abrogation or disagrees, discussing the matter and citing the opinions of scholars, prophetic hadiths, and fundamental principles. The hadiths in the book have been authenticated, and some commentaries have been included.
