Al-Misbah Al-Munir: Tahdhib wa Tahqiq Tafsir Ibn Kathir is a carefully refined and researched Urdu edition of one of the most renowned and influential works of Quranic exegesis, Tafsir Ibn Kathir, authored by the distinguished Islamic scholar and Hadith master, Al-Hafiz Imaduddin Ibn Kathir (701–774 AH).

The purpose of this scholarly effort was to present the essential explanations and valuable discussions of Tafsir Ibn Kathir in a more organized and accessible form, while paying particular attention to the examination and referencing of narrations. Unreliable and fabricated reports and unnecessary narrations were carefully addressed during the process of tahdhib and research.

This Urdu edition brings the benefit of that scholarly work to Urdu-speaking readers. The translation of the commentary was undertaken by Maulana Muhammad Khalid Saif, while the translation of the Quranic verses is provided by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf and Maulana Muhammad Abdul Jabbar.
